Hongo to Legendary Master?[]
Should Hongo be moved to legendary master? Not only has he challeneged two already, but he did without hesitation and defeated one of them, second currently ongoing.
Definitely not. Though Hongo "won" his fight with Jenezad, his performance during the entire fight was mostly him simply trying to not get killed. Hongo and Sakaki both acknowledged that Jenazad was indeed more powerful. It was only a combination of Jenazad not taking him seriously and Hongo tricking him right in the last moment that have him the win.
We have seen in the series that the "winner" is not always the one who is better. For example, Tsuji defeated Kenichi because Kenichi didn't take him seriously. Hongo vs Jenazad was very much a similar situation. Merrick.southall (talk) 04:00, May 21, 2016 (UTC)
Name[]
The following tidbit was added to Hongō's trivia:
- "Hongō's name might be taken from Takeshi Hongō/Kamen Rider Ichigō, the first Kamen Rider."
The user who added it didn't provide a source and I moved it here for the time being. Hongō is a rather common name and it might be pure coincidence that both characters share the same last name. Is there anything that supports the Kamen Rider theory? --Naishode (talk) 17:59, January 20, 2018 (UTC)
